Connecting with our Chakras on this auspicious day!

chakra

WOW! The energies on this auspicious day is so powerful. The 11th day of the month is the perfect time for us to connect with Spirit, ask for guidance and pray for the greater good of mankind.

The number 11 is a powerful master number that is a gateway between Heaven and Earth. We are connected to Heaven through our energetic bodies and the chakras. Our chakras represent the rainbow bridge connecting us to all that exists.

Chakras are the main energy centres in the body that are situated along the spine and govern different aspects of our health, vibrating at different frequencies. The base chakra situated at the base of the spine, resonates with the colour red and has the lowest vibration. As we move up the chakra system, the frequency increases as the colours of the rainbow manifest all the way up to the crown of the head. The crown chakra resonates with the colour violet or white, and has the highest vibration.

By bringing awareness to your chakras, energy moves up from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. The upward moving current is called the liberating current and connects us to the divine universal energy. The downward moving current, is the manifestation current where we use that Spiritual energy to feed our chakras, manifesting things into reality.

Chakras can become blocked, overactive or under-active. By awakening each chakra we can bring balance, positivity, peace, clarity, high energy and success into our lives. The body runs on energy, not food. When we receive energy from other chakras, such as love, power or higher states of consciousness, our need for food decreases. Here are the 7 main chakras and their role in our health:

Muladhara (root chakra) our first chakra, resonates with the colour red and the element of earth. This chakra connects us to the material existence and our ability to manifest our needs. The inner state of this chakra is stillness, security and stability. When in balance, you will have a healthy body, feel grounded, stable, secure and have an abundance of energy.

Svadistana (sacral chakra) our second chakra, resonates with the colour orange and the element of water, where solid becomes liquid and stillness becomes movement. Our initial unity from muladhara now becomes duality and we find a desire to connect with others, our emotions and sexuality. The sacral chakra is all about change and is stimulated by the dance of polarities. Where the first chakra seeks to hold on and create structure, the second chakras purpose is to let go and flow. When in balance, you will be fearless and live by instinct, feeling emotionally balanced, you will express yourself clearly and feel secure.

Manipura (solar plexus chakra) our third chakra, resonates with the colour yellow and the element of fire, which transforms the passive elements of earth and water into dynamic energy and power. Manipura is the seat of our willpower and the driving force to overcome inertia. This chakra is fiery and it’s solar energy brings us light, warmth, energy, power and vitality. When in balance, you will feel confident and in control of your life, unaffected by negativity and criticism. You will feel oneness with the Universe.

Anahata (heart chakra) our fourth chakra, resonates with the colour green and pink and the element of air. This chakra is the central point in our  system, our spiritual centre that unites forces from above and below. The role of this chakra is to integrate and balance the various aspects of our being, allowing us to feel whole. When in balance, we experience unconditional love and devotion, practicing non-violence and compassion. We have good relationships and increase spiritual growth.

Visuddha (throat chakra) our fifth chakra, resonates with the colour sky blue and the element of space and sound. It relates to communication between our inner and outer worlds. Communication is a way of expanding ourselves beyond ordinary limitations and this chakra is the first of the spiritual realm. When in balance, you will have great communication skills and be able to express yourself clearly. You can hear your inner voice and guidance and are creative.

Ajna (third eye chakra) our sixth chakra, resonates with the colour indigo and the element of light. The third eye relates to the pineal gland also known the seat of the soul. It is in this chakra that we perceive the world and externalize our inner world. Through creative visualization, we can form images in our third eye chakra to manifest things into our reality. When in balance, you will have high concentration, focus and will power, experiencing spiritual awakening and an increase in intellect.

Sahasrara (crown chakra) our seventh chakra, resonates with the colour violet and white and the element of thought. This chakra connects us to the divine intelligence and source of all manifestation. Once we reach this level, the seed of our soul has sprouted from it’s roots in the earth, and grown upward through the elements of water, fire, air, space and light, and now to the source of all – consciousness itself. Sahasrara is the seat of enlightenment and a profound knowingness to all that is! When in balance, you feel a deep connection to Spirit and have crystal clear intuition. You will live without prejudice and feel enlightened.

Use this auspicious day to connect to each of your chakras, breathing light into each one.

This can be done in a salt bath for ultimate indulgence and cleansing of the energetic body. Make sure to light some candles too! J

Spend a minute or so breathing light into your base chakra, cleansing and balancing your energy. Once you feel ready, move onto the next one until you get all the way to the crown chakra. Then feel your whole body vibrating in white light, feeling the cleansing of your body, mind and spirit.

Use this energy bubble of protection around you whenever you go outside. It will ward off negative vibes from other people and keep you in good spirits!
