WOW! The past 4 months in India have been an incredible adventure!
I have so many magical stories to share with you….
I am sorry I haven’t been able to connect with you while I’ve been away there were many internet and technical issues I faced that helped me to stay focused and committed to writing my book on how to heal your back pain naturally.
It’s exciting times right now as my book is almost complete and I am thrilled to announce that Elaine Griffiths, the Chief Executive at Gorton Monastery has asked me to be the resident yoga teacher and therapist there. You can join me every Sunday for yoga and I will also be offering massage therapies, spiritual healing, chakra balancing and angel readings.
I am super excited to start yoga classes for children and I’m over the moon to be part of the team at Gorton Monastery! We will be organizing yoga classes for local children that will be offered at the Monastery during the week as an after school activity… so watch this space! 🙂
The Kids Yoga Teacher Training Course was brilliant!
My journey began at Yoga Vidya Gurukul where I immersed myself completely in the yogic lifestyle practicing yoga, teaching, studying and volunteering around the ashram. It felt so good to disconnect from the internet for 7 weeks and work more deeply on my spiritual practices such as silence, fasting, chanting, karma yoga and many other disciplines.
The kids yoga teacher training course was amazing and so much fun. My dear friend and room mate Andrea Laubstein created and delivered it really well. Her first course was a huge success and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in teaching yoga to children!
We even had the pleasure of teaching some local school kids which was fantastic, they loved it so much they requested we go back and teach them more regularly. It’s exciting news knowing that Kate and Andrea set up regular classes for the kids and it’s something I’d like to be involved with at a later date. For now I’m bringing it all home!!
I learned so much and can’t wait to start teaching the younger generation the gift of yoga. During my time in India I had the pleasure of teaching different age groups and it was great to see them enjoying the classes so much, especially when I combined yoga with kickboxing classes!
Ahhh… Magical Sunsets in Agonda, Goa
As soon as I arrived in Goa I got talking to Ricky, a local businessman who suffered with back pain.
I offered him a yoga therapy session and he felt immediate relief. The next day 2 of his friends also came along for the session and I ended up running a free yoga class on the beach every afternoon for 90 minutes followed by a beautiful sunset meditation standing in the ocean, feeling the prana from all the elements around and within us.
It was such a magical experience, especially when dolphins came very close to the shore to grace us with their presence. It was great how all of my students were very interested in learning about energy work and chakras, the classes we always fun to teach and everyone loved it when I introduced some of the content I learned during the kids course. It’s so much fun pretending to be children! 🙂
My Self Realization to help create a better world….
I had the opportunity to teach paid yoga classes whilst I was in Goa and I happily declined knowing that I was meant to continue running the free yoga classes on the beach, especially because half of my students suffered with back pain and needed my help.
My purpose in life is helping people to heal themselves naturally with yoga and natural remedies. I have no desire to make money any more, it doesn’t fit in with my ethos of our new world. Slowly but surely we will see a huge shift in consciousness where more and more people trade services and time rather than exchange cash. After all, money is just energy on paper!
My friends thought this was very inspiring and assured me that they could feel I was making the right decision as I exuded love and light when I spoke about my greatest vision, which was to eradicate money and create a self-sufficient lifestyle where money isn’t needed.
I will be sharing more about this new paradigm with you in later posts. I have met many other individuals on my travels over the past few years that share the same vision and more and more people are waking up to this new way of living… It’s inspiring, motivating and assuring meeting so many people who are focused on achieving the same kind of lifestyle.
The most exciting and happiest moment in Goa…..
As soon as Ricky told me he had a punch bag in North Goa, I insisted he bring it to Audio Agonda so we could train together and to my amazement he gave me the best Christmas present ever….
He created us a Dojo Shala so I could give yoga and kickboxing classes for the local community. I was so happy to train again and coaching others was so much fun!
Training in the warm weather out in nature, surrounded by palm trees is the best!
I offered 90 minute classes 4 times a week alternating early morning classes with afternoon classes. It was a fantastic routine and I started to feel more alive than ever! I would watch the sunrise walking down the beach to training every morning and smile from the depths of my heart, feeling so connected to everything.
I was very grateful to be so happy doing what I love in a place that I felt at my happiest and most peaceful….
The afternoon sessions finished around 6pm, just in time to walk the beach and watch the beautiful sunset into the magnificent ocean. Pure bliss!
Every day is a blessing and India is a magical place where you meet so many like-minded people.
I’ve awakened to a whole new level of consciousness and realized that my dharma is to live selflessly sharing the gift of yoga and helping others to ascend on their spiritual journey.
I am working towards the greatest vision I uphold in helping to raise the vibrations of Mother Earth and assist in the evolution on mankind without expecting anything in return. My happiness lies in helping others and guiding them lovingly on their path to ascension.
For me, this means letting go of expectations and living completely from my heart centre.
While I was in the ashram I was giving massages, angel readings and chakra healing sessions as part of my karma yoga (selfless service). I decided to continue doing this once I arrived in Goa, the only difference being, people wanted to give me something in return.
I was doing what I love, helping lots of people, and as an exchange of energy, in return they bought me meals and gave me money for helping them. I soon realized that this is part of the divine plan and I trust in the Universe completely.
Yes life in Western society is very different from India, especially the cost of living. However, I have complete faith that this is the next step for me to take to elevate the consciousness of the planet.
The Universe always provides for us what we need…
This new chapter will be a very interesting one and I would love to invite you to join me at the Monastery to discuss further how I can help you on your journey or how you can help us on ours.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you !
Have a magical day filled with angel blessings & divine synchronicities!
