When we live in balance with nature, we flow through life.
Ayurveda is the medical component of Yoga, they are known as sister sciences.
Ayurveda relies on the correct combinations of food, spices and herbs, as well as bodywork and proper lifestyle practices to achieve perfect health.
The wisdom of Ayurveda educates us on how to live according to nature and in balance with Mother Earth and the seasons.
Yoga is the miracle cure to heal the body and mind naturally. Since finding yoga at the age of 17, I have completely transformed my lifestyle and feel blessed to be living my life's purpose. Yoga helped me to heal physically, mentally and emotionally.
I spent many years studying alternative medicine after breaking my lower back.
Miracles DO happen! In January 2011 I found a cure for my lower back pain!
After healing my own back pain naturally, I offered the same 6 week programme I had created for myself to my clients. Just like myself, every client I have worked with on this programme has had miraculous changes in their pain levels too! Within a matter of weeks, all of my clients report a 50% reduction in pain and feel healthy enough to stop taking their medications. This gets me really excited! This is my "Big Why!" Why I am here on this place we call Earth.
I love teaching people how to heal themselves naturally by using the power of intention, positive affirmations, yoga, meditation and a nutritious wholesome diet.
My purpose is to inspire you to live a healthier and happier future. Break you out of your comfort zone and live the life of your dreams! I want you to wake up every morning feeling alive and excited for the day ahead.
Anything is possible when you put your mind to it, DO NOT settle for anything less!

In short, they have the tools they need to live a pain free life!
Why I Guide People to Heal Themselves Naturally
To explain what led me to become an Ayurvedic Yoga Lifestyle Coach, let me tell you about my journey so far, and how breaking my back turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
When I left school I was passionate about so many different therapies. My time was consumed with studying. After qualifying as a Sports Therapist, Beauty Therapist and Personal Trainer, I opened my first clinic in Ashton where I helped people to heal physically, mentally and emotionally. For me, nothing is more satisfying than helping people to achieve their goals and become healthier and happier.
After working diligently to build a reputable business, in 2004 I had a serious accident and broke L2 and L3 in my lower back. I was bed bound for several months, unable to walk or sit up. I lay on my back for months heavily sedated on different medications. When I finally got back on my feet again, despite being in chronic pain, I went back to work as a mobile therapist.
Many doors opened for me in 2005. I got into teaching fitness classes and coaching. I absolutely loved teaching high intensity classes and along with the mobile therapy business, this became my full time job. I was working over 70 hours per week and my love and passion for what I did helped me to put the back pain to the back of my mind but I was always aware it was there.
I seen so many different doctors and specialists and they told me that I would be in pain for the rest of my life and I had to learn to deal with it. Sadly, I did for a while. I kept trying to convince myself the pain didn’t exist; but it did. I was determined to heal myself naturally. I researched different holistic and alternative therapies.
Before I broke my back I was practicing yoga and kickboxing once a week from being the age of 17. Yoga helped me to calm my over active mind and increase my flexibility, which was great for my martial arts training. After doing extensive research, my heart felt compelled to enrol on a Yoga Teacher Training course. Little did I know that this would change my life forever.
Yoga is a complete science that dates back 5000 years. When you align your body, mind, heart and spirit, you create the perfect environment for the body to heal itself.
With my new found knowledge, I put together a 6 week programme that focused on healing the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. To my amazement, after a week on the programme I felt great. It was the first time in years I had gone a full week without experiencing pain. I was elated!
Within 6 weeks I was completely healed! It was a miracle! The pain had disappeared which immediately improved my mental and emotional well-being too. I started to do the things I hadn’t done for over 7 years that I previously enjoyed so much. It feels amazing to be able to do martial arts again and deep back-bending postures in yoga.
To integrate all of my skills and deepen my knowledge around the healing benefits of yoga, I lived in India at the beginning of 2012 for a month where I intensely studied yoga therapy for 16 hours a day, meditated regularly, truly living the yoga lifestyle.
I am now the fittest, strongest and happiest I have ever been. Using the same programme I created to heal my own back, I now dedicate my life to showing others the light. Anything is possible when you put your mind to it. The power of the mind is a big aspect in the healing process.
The thing that gets me out of bed every morning, my “big why”, is to inspire people to take control of their own health and well-being so they can live a pain free life. The human body has the potential to heal itself naturally, all you need to do is create the right environment for this to happen and my job is to educate as many people as possible and provide them with the tools they need to control pain and to achieve optimum health and well-being and live the life of their dreams!

“I feel that I have grown spiritually due to Sharon's experience and support. I now feel ready to take the next steps in order to continue to include yoga and meditation in my daily routine.”
Before I started my Ayurvedic yoga lifestyle course I found yoga to be quite intimidating and it did not play any part in my day to day life. I would get out of bed as late as possible and my meditation practice was very sporadic. I also paid little attention to my diet and didn't realize the significance of how much changing my diet could affect my mood.
Until my first class I found yoga to be quite intimidating and felt that only 'super fit' people with lots of time on their hands would be able to incorporate yoga into their daily lives. I was also worried that the other people in the class would be 'not my kind of people', but everyone was really down to earth and lovely.
As soon as I met Sharon I knew I was going to enjoy the course. Her welcoming and calm nature put me at ease instantly. The classes were tailored to each person and therefore I was able to work at my own pace. Sharon was really encouraging and kept me positive even when I felt a little challenged. The other people I met were really lovely and we were all at ease with one another. Sharon was also really flexible and accommodating and one week when I was unable to attend the weekly class Sharon made special arrangements for me to have a one-to-one class at her studio.

“I can't tell enough people about how brilliant yoga makes you feel and I can't wait to continue developing my practice under Sharon's guidance.”
“Before starting yoga around 8 months ago I was struggling to cope with controlling my irritable bowel syndrome. After 18 months of ruling out foods which I could no longer eat I was still having difficulties. The doctor put me onto antidepressants as new research showed that by relaxing the brain it could possibly help to relieve my symptoms.
Unfortunately these made me feel much worse and began to change my personality. After researching alternative options I found that some people had had success after regularly practicing yoga.
I began to attend a weekly class with Sharon and immediately began to feel better and back in control. I love attending the classes and thoroughly enjoyed partner yoga and have now signed up to the lifestyle class.
I have become stronger, more flexible and have very few problems with my IBS now. I can't tell enough people about how brilliant yoga makes you feel and I can't wait to continue developing my practice under Sharon's guidance.” Charlotte Pym
